This tutorial will show you how to add an Icon texture to an Icon.
First pick an icon.
I am using this one:

Now find a texture.
I am using this one:

Now copy and paste it onto your Icon.
Go over to the menu on the Right side of the window.
Double Click on "Raster 2"
A window should pop up.
Now just change the settings on "Blend Mode" from "Normal" to "Screen"
Now just click OK, and you are done!
My Icon looks like this:
