In this tutorial, I will show you how to make a cute icon with text.
First off, get an icon base.
I am using this one:

You can use it too if you like.
Then you go up to the top menu bar, and select
Layers >>
Duplicate
Then you go to your menu on the right side, and go down to Layers. You click on
"Copy of Raster"
A pop-up should come up.
Now where it says
"Blend Mode", click the down arrow and select
"Screen". You can change the Opacity if you like, but I left it at 100 Then press OK.
Now you can get a texture.
I am using this one:

You can also use this too if you like.
Then once you have your icon texture, you copy and paste it onto your icon.
Then you go to your menu on the right side, and go down to Layers again.
"Raster 2" should be there. Double click, and a window should pop up.
Just like what you did the first time, set the Blend Mode to
"Screen", I changed the Opacity to 39. Then press OK.
Now you have your Icon!
You can do whatever you want with it now, add more text. Or some other textures, brushes. Ect.
