This tutorial will teach you how to zip folders for download on your website! :D
First, you want to pick a file that you'd like to zip. I'm going to use this set of icons.
(save them in a place that you'll remember!! I'm saving them in my "Icon" folder!)
So once you've chosen your file(s), you'll want to find a space around them and right click on your mouse.
This will bring up a little pop out window, and you should see it say View, Sort by, ect. You'll want to click
NEW.
This should bring up another little pop out window, and it should have a few options for you.
You click
New zipped folder.
I have a program called WinRAR, and this is a Zipped file program. So in this next screenshot, you will see that my file looks a bit different than yours. Don't worry,
it's all the same technically!
Then you'll want to drag your files into the folder, and upload it to your FTP/CPANEL database!
